Sidewalk Sale
On August 5th , 6th and 7th Team, members took turns manning our successful Sidewalk Sale booth. Offering the "World Cups" game, drinks, Rice Krispie Treats and Car Decals the girls were able to raise a substantial sum. Assisted at times by Gracie, the girls not only raised money but had fun.
Summer League in Full Swing
Summer League games have begun. Coach Sperry, Favaloro and Weibecky have gotten the first look at a bunch of new faces and the results seem promising.
First Fiesta GHS Girls Alumni Game
Fiesta of course is about tradition. The newest tradition began on Fiesta Saturday when the GHS Girls Alumni squad challenged the GHS Girls Varsity team. Organized by former players Shawna and Ashley Medina, the Alumni were able to put together a full squad of former GHS players. The result, a great game despite the varsity 3-1 win.
Team Takes part in Pride Stride
Several team members recently participated in the Gloucester Pride Stride. These dedicated members enjoyed each others company, a long walk and the knowledge that their efforts raised a substantial amount of money for the team.
Team Registration Meeting Wednesday Morning August 25th 8:00 AM @ GHS
The Team Registration meeting will be held Wednesday August 25th at 8:00 AM at Gloucester High School. To register students need to have completed registrations forms and a User Fee payment. A Team meeting with Coach White will follow. Parents welcome to attend.
The School District has announced that user fees are unchanged from last year. This means the fee remains $350. Students who qualify for Reduced Lunch the fee is $220 and for those that qualify for Free Lunch the Fee is $145.
Payments plans may be available but need to be arranged with the Athletic Director. Her Email address is kpatience@gloucester.k12.ma.us .
Volunteers Needed
As mentioned at the last boosters meeting, as a thank you to the GFAA team members are asked to volunteer to help at the RunGloucester event Sunday August 22nd. Volunteers are asked to report to the High School at 6:30 am and the commitment should not extend past 10:00 am.

Time for a Check Up
With August fast approaching and the season not so far behind, now is the time to schedule the required physical exam with your doctor. Physical exams are required for all athletes participating in GHS sports and are valid for 13 months. You can download the required form below
